I had a good experience at Ojo de Agua. The waitress took great care of us—very friendly and attentive, with excellent service. The menu has a lot of variety, and overall the food was good. Our order included two coffees, two orders of consomé with two tacos, a mamey smoothie, a green juice, and a nopales taco. The total was $74.01. The only thing I didn’t like was the mamey smoothie—it honestly tasted like they forgot to add the mamey because it didn’t have much flavor. Other than that, everything was good and I would recommend this place.
The food was mid compared to the amazing Rialto location. The little girl at the register in the afternoon is rude. As soon as someone walks in she says "para aqui, o pa llevar?!" Like girl, say hi first. The server also caught an attitude when I checked my bag. No spoon or napkins were placed in my to go order. Those little things matter. I don't think we need to pay for her bad day. Skimpy serving. Never coming back. I'll take the trip all the way out to Rialto instead.
